Actually, I don't think it's impossible. I remember two years ago at the Lansing radio meet I just missed buying two, new-old-stock Regency TR-1 cabinets! I suppose they're still out there, you never know till you ask.

Hi Jim .. Twin Falls . I have a repair shop here .208-731-0426 . Always glad to meet ``radio people`` I started cleaning up this TR1 . I hooked up 22 volts and held some capacitors across the old ones and it plays fairly well . My personal oppinion on a radio like this is to never remove old parts . I will tack new capacitors on the back of the circuit board like i did my other TR1 .

Ken, Please email me at kc7ryd@yahoo.com. We have met before. Your memeber name on the earlier post had me confused.

Hi, Ken, since you have a repair shop, I am wondering if you repair Emerson Transistor II, a hybrid radio with three sub-miniature tubes (1V6, 1HA4, 1HJ5) and two power output transistors used in push-pull output stage. It makes noise only when I rubbed the battery connectors. Thanks! Dan

Hi i dont get here to often ... Yes i fix all kinds of radios . I have fixed several by mail . The only problem with your Emerson would be finding tubes if one or more is bad .
